Holiday Treats - Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Chocolate covered pretzels are probably the easiest thing to make. All you need is some chocolate, some pretzels, a pan, and a little bit of time.

Vegan Chocolate Covered Pretzels


2 cups vegan semi-sweet chocolate chips, or vegan baker's chocolate
2 cups pretzels


Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

In a small saucepan heat the chocolate over low to medium heat. Be sure to stir continuously so that the chocolate does not burn. Note: use a double-broiler if you have one.

Once the chocolate is melted, remove from heat, then drop a pretzel into the chocolate. Coat the pretzel evenly and place on the parchment paper (I usually use a fork to get the pretzel out of the chocolate). Repeat until all the pretzels are coated in chocolate.

You can keep melting chocolate until you have the desired amount of pretzels.

Let the chocolate covered pretzels cool overnight, or until the chocolate has hardened.
